Supporting Our Export Markets

Supporting Our Export Markets, We have a ready for despatch, five very contrasting boilers in size. The larger in size boiler (ST36) is being shipped to Bangladesh for the garment industry and the four smaller ST25 boilers are going to be installed into the Katara Towers in Qatar.

Cochran Burner Development… Ultranox

After extensive product development and testing, to complement our well established Simplex, Triplex and Equinox burner ranges we are delighted to officially launch the new state of the art Cochran Ultranox burner. Already, sales of the Ultranox particularly in the UK are already gaining momentum with customers who are looking to future proof their plant by reducing emissions well below the Medium Combustion Plant Directive (MCPD) threshold.

Cochran stay ahead and achieve ISO 45001 Certification

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Lloyds Register ISO 45001:2018 Certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. The scope of this approval is applicable to all areas: Design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of boiler islands, packaged boilers, combustion equipment, heat recovery systems, ancillary equipment and pressure vessels together with aftermarket service, repairs, training and operational support.

Cochran beats Covid blues and is Recruiting

Our Product Support side of the business remained busy throughout lockdown providing advice, spare parts and service engineers to Hospitals and Food Manufacturing companies as well as to Distilleries that switched their production to hand sanitiser for the safety of all. For this extra efforts, we would like to say a huge thank you to our Cochran Key Workers who, in very uncertain times, carried on. Further information on Product Support. We are also delighted to be able to say that Customer Training has restarted albeit socially distant in order to keep everyone safe. Our Training Manager has also successfully ran an Accredited course in our Training Centre at Newbie. We investigated offering training courses online, but the preference was to wait until we could do it face to face and hands on. Further information on Training

Launch of the last seagoing paddle steamer powered by Cochran boilers

Named after Sir Walter Scott's debut novel, The Waverley was built just after World War Two as a replacement for a vessel sunk during the Dunkirk evacuation. In 1975, at the end of its working life, it was bought for £1 by the Paddle Steamer Preservation Society.
