A manufacturing powerhouse in Scotland – we’ve been shortlisted for four awards

The awards recognise and celebrate the diverse range of companies and individuals that are advancing manufacturing in Scotland and are a new addition to the prestigious ‘Made-in series’ organised by
Insider Media.
An independent panel of expert judges agreed the shortlisted companies, from what was described as a record number of entries across 14 categories.
Our shortlisted award categories are:
- Manufacturer of the Year (over £10m)
- Engineering Manufacturer of the Year
- Outstanding Contribution to Manufacturing
And our Chief Engineer,
David Young, has also been recognised in the Engineer/Leader of the Year category which we’re especially proud of.
Over the last 18 months we’ve been making significant changes across the company, building on our 130-year heritage and our embedded company culture to make positive changes to strengthen our future. These awards recognise the hard work and commitment of our team to do right by each other, the company, our community and the environment.
The team is looking forward to the awards dinner, taking place at the Voco Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow on Thursday 8th October, where the winners will be revealed. The winners of the regional award categories will go onto the national Made in the UK grand final awards on 19 November at the Science and Industry Museum, Manchester.
Congratulations to all of the other businesses who have been shortlisted this year, we look forward to coming together to showcase and champion all that Scottish manufacturing and innovation has to offer.
