Daniels Manfelds – Runner Up, 2025 ICOM Apprentice of the Year

Daniels said, “I am delighted and overwhelmed to have made it this far, I would like to thank my employer for nominating me and congratulations to the winner.  I would like to thank ICOM (Industrial & Commercial Heating Equipment) and sponsor Groupe Atlantic along with Guest Speaker – Alun Cochrane, for his humorous and entertaining speech today in the St Ermin’s Hotel, London.”

David Young, Chief Engineer commented that we are obviously disappointed Daniels missed out on this occasion, although he did extremely well to get this far as the quality of entrants for this year’s award was exceptionally high. Daniels has demonstrated excellence and outstanding achievement during his time at Cochran and I am delighted that the industry recognised Daniels thus far.

Daniels is a Controls Technician and is progressing through his Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering at Dumfries & Galloway College.  In his spare time, he enjoys cooking distinctive and flavourful foods from around the world. For the future, he wants to develop new solutions and learn as much as he can within at Cochran.
